I thought I might start this thread for people to ask Papa Smurf questions regarding part numbers etc. After 40 odd years working in spare parts at a ford dealer. He also has access to the ford parts data base so if your looking for a part number for something post your question here.

Hey pap smurf,
I have an 99 AU Fairlane Ghia and the chrome moulding is starting to peel. What would it cost for the entire strips around the car. ie front back and sides. Cheers in advance

AU V8 Cam F4TZ 6250B 185 and 200KW up till 12/2000 $2185.00
AU 200 KW from 01/2001-10/2001 AU2TVE 6250A and is $870.00 AU 220 KW from 08/2001-10/2001 AU2TVE 6250B and is $870.00 (also TE,TS and TL50) AU 250 KW from 11/2001- end TAU3 6250A and is $6125.00 (also TE, TS and TL50) AU 220 KW from 07/1998-07/200 F1ZZ 6250A for TS50 $1520.00 (this is a Mustang Part) The standard Rockers are E0AZ 6564B x 16 and cost $49.50 each. The Roller Rockers listed come as kits only and are like Poison. The cheapest set are TAU3 6564AKT and cost $2044.00 and the super dooper ones are TVE 6564A and cost $2625.00. I would be looking at an American Mustang site and see what you can get from them

and an Oil pressure sensor for an AU? Thanks!

You might be able to get some help from Duramouldsoth, the link to his Email address is a few posts up.  Oil Pressure gauge type EF 9F290A and is $56.50. |
