true, your definately right there, i would never buy a new car ayy, lose too much money on it... thats the bit which sucks tho i got no warranty and you do!

Just checked my BA. Heater is just warm. The ''In" metal pipe under the dash is hot, the return pipe is cool to warm. The controls appear to be working. Under passenger side dash the rod moves OK and changes the airflow fine. |

Dead HIM module? If the heater core is getting hot then it has to be the heater box... If the heater core isn't getting hot then is your heater tap opening up properly?

Your heatertap is in the engine bay isn't it? The pipes duck through the firewall on the driver's side on a BA... I'd have thought the tap would still be in the bay in one of those two hoses perhaps under the intake manifold?
