Nope, stupidity mainly. My car had no keys at all AND I swapped the XR BEM for a Fairmont Ghia BEM. In SmartShield cars swapping BEM's requires matching them with the ECU. Forscan now does this while programming keys which is a bonus!

Airbag. except the BEM. which as i understand ford done something funny with the AU BEM's addressing.
