Hi Folks,
Just bought a Motive Gear GM9-370 ring and pinion, 3.7 ratio. The seller says it fits the borg warner 0578 housing however no where online says anything about it. Any one know if it will definitely replace my current ring and pinion or if it won't work?

0578 is a 78 series (7.8")b/w which is whats used in eb2 to au it actually should have b/w 0578 and the ratio stamped on the outside edge of the ring gear..

The 75 series will fit into a 78 series housing as well , you just need to shim the pinion.

Sorry I should have clarified, I have an 0578 just wondering if this ring and pinion is actually suitable for the 0578?
