ok ill cut to the chase

car=ef or el falcon
t5 box out of = xg ute
motor = au series 1


will it work?

the Box will bolt up, but i don't think all the holes will line up, but u can get an AU bell housing to correct the problem.

Engine in the EF/EL very do able done many times before - many a sticky on that subject.

That is my combo, as stated you should get the AU bellhousing if you can otherwise you are going to be missing the bottom 2 or 4 bolts.

what about t5 from ef/el into a ba motor?

just wondering what gearbox the EF XR6 comes with its 5 speed manual but is it the same as EA or XF is it a T5 and is it the same gearbox in the base model or different

eb through out to el used the same t5, should bolt into any of them straight up.
ea is almost the same with a shorter first and second. apparently weaker
and as for a pre au t5 into a au motor, bolts dont line up so you need au bellhousing.

Nope, need BA gear (clutch, flywheel, pedalbox (has hydraulic clutch), bellhousing)
