Hey guy

İ stumbled over a PDF on t5 manual tran (manual) and i was looking threw it and noticed that the t5 manual also cam out with a transfer case for a awd setupş anyone know what this would have been fitted to

id love to look into turning my ef with au engine into a awd like a nissan skyline gtr

ive got the alloy sump to make the drive shaft go threw and weld to id just have to get a custom tailshaft made and find a front diff to match and some cv shafts and some new front suspension with hubs to suit cvs

it'd be best suited to sand where traction is the first breaking point..

It's interesting none the less..

iirc theres a few cars out there with awd setups.

Ssangyong musso had a T5 with a fabricated transfer case.

Pretty much like the W##series Supra boxes. vans used the same box with smaller extension housings and wide ratios.

some1 might know a bit more, or even if searched there is probly a thread about it, but i'm pretty sure ford developed an AWD AU. i dont think the idea went very far. not sure if it was auto or manual.

i did a quick peek on google and found a transfer case

Transfer Case Compatability
The Jeep T4 & T5 was factory-married to the Jeep Dana Spicer Model 300 transfer case.

I didn't pay much attention to the pic, but the territory is AWD. If you want to convert to AWD, consider buying a smashed territory. But the task would seem huge. I figure you would only consider this if you have a strong blown motor.

the problem with territory is they use the barra engine which is a diff stud pattern to my SOHC

but that also another option but do the territory come out manual awd????

If you want to use a sohc and a manual box, wouldn't the next step be to see if the trans mates up to the transfer case, and if not, how that can be solved?

But this would only be one of numerous challenges to be solved before AWD could be done.
