Hey guys quick run down of what I have and what I need (help with)

1994 EF sedan formally a 6 cylinder
302w from EL
T5 from a ED

So far engine and box are matted together and ready to be installed . My problem is that I was going to swap in a AU II or BA/BF kframe following bbqburners guide but that was for the I6 engines I'm an I'm swapping in a V8 so my question is

Does the AU II V8 kframe retain the newer front offset an allow me to use the larger caliper catalog and is the BA/BF V8 Kframes the same as a AU II or III. Many thanks - PLZ818

K Frame for the EF/EL was the same for V8 and 6cyl.

AU K Frame is also the same for V8 and 6cyl.

EB/ED had different K Frames for the 6cyl and V8.

The offset for the AU is the same as BA.

If you are looking at fitting the AU K Frame, you will increase the offset on the front, so you will need to look at replacing the diff with an AU diff as well.

If you are wanting larger brakes on the front, consider doing the a brake kit that will also increase you offset to +36, also allowing use of twin pot calipers and larger discs (Cheaper than trying to convert the K Frame and you wll have the same result).
