I tried the search but it's playing up.
I recall reading something about fitting an AU brake booster into E-series as they were better in some respect? Anyone able to provide more info please.

The AUII has a twin diaphram brake booster. Here's the proof.

Did all AU's get it (including the very early AU Series 1)?
Are they a straight fit into the E-series or are things a bit more complicated than that?

I'd just go to a wrecker with a good ruler and venier calapers, and pull each of a wreck and check the measurements. I have not heard of anyone doing this, i'm reckon someone would have tried though.

the AU II booster will fit with some mods. You will also need the master cylinder, and either the brake lines, ABS module etc. Or some adapters to hook the e series brake lines to the master cylinder. The e series master dosent fit the AUII booster as the mounting points are different lengths
