Are all front rotors vented? My series 1 is due for new rotors and due to the cost factor of replacing them I have gone for an after market set.
How ever when the sales rep showed me pair of rotors I noticed that they where not vented and even the disc thickness seemed under (workshop manual says standard size is 24 mm.) Maybe he was showing me rear set? Allowing that these rotors are only costing $110.00 for the pair would they be manufactored with out vents?Thanks... |

tip, look at hitech brakes.. site sponsor.. forum is up the top.. pretty sure they have a sale on DBA slotted's for $99 a side.. at that price im tempted! but im broke and rotors/brakes arent that old

nearly all rotors these days are vented
as mentioned, go get yourself some slotted rotors (yes vented too lol) and some decent pads as well whilst ur there |

I checked my reciept for the deposit on the rotors and chased the part# up and they ordered rears,
 thats why I queried them thanks for your info back.Will re-order.

some cars do have solid rears
as u have found out the price was for rears not fronts. also mate welcome to the forum next time let us know what car they are for
