Is there any alternative to topping up tranny fluid rather than the filler plug on an au auto? Cannot get that sucker off

That is the only way to do oil on a Auto begining with the EF Series II. |

Only single hex 16mm I had was quarter inch and I broke the breaker bar... Then I tried using other stuff and now its practically a circle.. I heard something about filling it from the cooler line going to the radiator... is that a thing?

You are going to need to get that plug out. |

Now that it's rounded off, give it a sharp hit end on, then use a cold chiesel on the side of whats left of the hex, and try to undo it......get a new plug and O'ring.

I removed the speedo drive and added fluid 1L at a time till my auto started working again

Get yourself an easy-out kit and spend lots of time drilling a hole in the nut, then simply screw the easy-out in until tight and it will come off with ease. Did for me at least.

Don't do this unless you know what you are doing. If you get any metal into the internals you will have a stuffed box before you know it. I doubt that you would get a brill into there due to the space. Do what CJH said and use a chisel/drift to tap it around and loose. |
