Just a quick question does the au xr8 run a seperate computer for the tranny so you could use an aftermarket ecu for the engine.

nope the AU's run the engine ecu and tranny ecu in the same ecu
the Au edit is now availble fron BPT

Oh well so much for replacing the ecu I have seen the AU edit on the forums so will have to investigate further.

you can put in aftermarket ecu for the au's
you could use the separt trans ECU's on the e series V8
or leave the the cars Ecu to run the transmission,spedo,tacho,thermos and the aftermarket engine ecu to run the engine side
