Droped it off this morning and did a measure of a BA/BF one and the pump drive on the TC is 7mm shorter on the AU, no wonder it never engaged.
Anyway I also took along an AU pump as a reference and the guy thinks he can swap over onto the BA box as he says the AU pump is stronger.

The (cheapest) solution for me was to get them to use an AU pump I had and install that on the BA Box. I can use my AU converter and I am happy with this as they are seeing quite a few failed pumps on the BA.

Is in and things are much improved. I have forward and reverse, infact I have 4 gears in total unfortunately that includes reverse.... I don't seem to have first, it takes off in second and its normal from then on.
