I really havent given it a good plant yet but even drving normally, the revs build up a lot quicker, i'll probably let it rip in about a week and let ya know.

ok, couldn't resist and gave it a bit of a squirt today. All I can say is wow

There is this small roundabout near my house so I slowed down alot for it and put it in first, now the first difference I noticed is that usually at that speed, the revs arnt too high and not much engine braking however this time, the revs were about 3,000 so I slowed it down even more, came out of the roundabout and planted it for first gear and it hammered without any lag and before I new it first gear was done!! It didn't feel like anything was holding the car back anymore and once it gets going, VCT takes care of the rest. I'm pretty sure i'll be able to crack the 14's now. Then all I need is to finally get the ECU flashed. :)

yup, 4 pinion 28 spline LSD all the way. The standard ford diffs are rubbish. In terms of bang for buck, I recommend the dif change and for those worrying about drivability, its perfect, in fact better as when slow maneuvering, the car doesn't get bogged down in that ultra low rpm crap that makes your car jerk around, its smooth as an 18 yr old titty. :)

$2,300. Its pricey and you can probably get a backyard job done for about $1,100 like jarreds mate brendon did. But I didn't want to take chances. They changed the suspension bushes connectting to the dif which wear out and snap (another ford defect). Also, apparently I did a really good job f**k it, everything inside was in pieces. So everything was changed brand new. I've only heard good things about bluepower and considering their shop was supposed to be closed until the 17th of jan, I was grateful that they went in for a few days after new years and fixed it all up.

Go the EA's! Still see heaps getting around.

The cars that aren't meant to be on the road.. aren't!

my BA's done 110k and everything is fine. Get's the odd thrash, the odd high speed pass and the odd bit of circle work, but I can't complain...

..besides the LHR brake constantly grabbing and making a shh shh noise...

but other than that, it seems I got really lucky!

ok, I did the test at 60km/h

That doesnt seem too bad... How can i work it out to 100? I checked google and there is a few calculators.. but they need the auto ratios and i cant seem to find them. I would imagine from that it'd be at about 2300RPM. give or take 100RPM.

hey dodd, I was on the freeway yesterday maintainging a steady speed of 100km/h and it was revving at 2,125 rpm.
