rushed, just out of curiousity, was it noticeable while driving that the shifter was becoming loose?

i am having some odd problems with my 3rd gear (just for something new with a t5  ) and i wonder if it could have something to do with it. i cant remember if i loctited the bolts...

and yeah, the quickshifter feels f**k awesome, i wouldnt be without one

oh yeah very noticable, 1st and reverse were almost impossible, the biggest hint for it when the gearstick cover is on, is chuck it in 3rd, and see if the stick moves around, it shouldnt (i have removed the rubber gromet, if you have it expect a lil movement). oh and when very loose you could lift the whole gearstick up about 1cm.

hrmm thanks,

i have had trouble physically getting it to go into 3rd gear at all, as if its hitting a brick wall. i havent noticed huge amounts of movement in the stick though.

I might have to lower it down over the weekend and have a looksee.

cheers
