Has anyone used Race Brakes? RB74s are $155 for the fronts, they are a pad designed for road reg cars used for super sprints ect. Im doing a few laps at eastern creek next week and looking at pads to suit some track use.

XRfan - Go to AUTOSPORT magill road. They sell stuff that's as good and even better than what Car toys do. It's a motorsport and road car mega store.

Just for the record - If anyone decides to go slotted rotors with EBC's, get RDA brand as DBA say they're rotors will not work with them

Damn!!! Still about the same distance thou, are they cheaper than Car Toys because they quoted me $180 for the Greenstuff brake pads.

Which has basically just put me off from buying them as its going to cost me the following

* $120 for each slotted rottor and im get the front done only so thats $240.
* bendix performax pads at the back only, they are $55 for the pair
* $180 for the Greenstuffs front only
*$80 for the installation (at Pitstop in VH)

Thats nearly $550 im paying.... wow thats s**t. I dont really know if i wanna pay that much either lol.

I have been recently looking at replacing the brakes on my EF Fairmont, and I have got a price from HTB, found them through Ebay before logging on here. I was quoted the following:
Front Slotted RDA ABS Rotors: $88
Rear Slotted RDA Rotors: $70
Front Bendix Performax Pads: $54
Rear Bendix Performax Pads: $50
Total: $420
plus shipping to here in Adelaide, and no one else has even come close to this locally!!

Plus the advantages Cam told me of the performax pad is very minimal dust for a good brake pedal!

Yeah im doing much the same thing now only without the slotted disc rotors im just going to get performax dics all round and leave the rotors stock for now.

I need more $$$ as i want to upgrade the whole braking system not just the front ones. Prolly after my 21's which isnt far away i might think about upgrading completely.

I use Bendix ultimates upfront and ferodo 'performance' pads at the back.

The ferodo's have little dust. Bendix have heaps!

I believe DBA, actually recommend Ferrodo Brake Pads to use with their rotors.

I'm looking at getting the PBR Sports Pack that come with Sports Disc Pads. Has anyone heard of, or used pbr pads before?
