Currently I have this problem that comes and goes but primarly when it is cold. When I stop and start to turn a corner the transmission (coloum shift auto in a Au ute) seems to go in to 'neutral'. I have to then rev it up it then clunks into gear and can go. Few questions
1 could it be the tourque converter
2 the transmission itself
3 or the motor/ computer

The reason I am asking is that i am currently saving up to swap over to manual and a new motor (motor currently blowing heaps of oil out of breather, have a raptor supercharger) but need the current combo for a little longer. I guess I need a quick fix or just bite the bullet and do the swap now and pay for it later

sounds like your trans needs a fluid top up. that should do the trick.
