Ive put 3.73 ratio in my ef inline 6 up from 3.08 diff ratio and it woke the car up from its slumber!! If your car is auto than go this ratio IMO. With nearly a full tank, bigger snorkel k&n panel filter and this diff change i got a 15.6 1/4 mile timewen standerd the around 16.3 or sumfn

Hey there ... If your car is an Auto, the 92 EB XR8 had a 3.27:1 open wheeler, The manual version's came with a LSD . From what I believe, the XR's did not come with 3.45LSD until EB2's were out.

It all depends on how much higher you wanna go, remember the higher diff ratio, the more on fuel you'll end up using the hwy ..

Changing from a 3.27:1 to a 3.45:1 would give you a better take off, and only about 200-400RPM higher rev's on the hwy .

From what I can understand from another thread here, I should have a 2.77 LSD in my EA Ghia. As I do more city driving (95+%) then Highway, a 3.0+ centre would suit me with better economy and take off wise ??
