Hey subject pretty much says it all, i have a 9 inch diff (checked) but isnt LSD and the gear ratio 3.27.1 would like to change to 4.11.1 and lsd, just wanting a bit more info from people who have done it before, and approx how much it will cost as well, also want to know approx how much replacing a rear axle (slightly bent)
cheers any info would be great :)

What car is this in? if its your E series, it does not have a 9". Unless it has been retro fitted. I repeat, does not have a 9" unless you or someone else has put it in.

Cool, got some photos of it? I would like to see it. If its a 9", and 9" LSD centre off ebay will do. The ratio does not sound 9" though.

First question. Does it have a bolted on removable hat on the rear of the diff covering the diff centre?
Is it bolts through a cover at the rear to get to the centre or is it nuts on studs through the front of the diff?
If you have a 9" conversion in an ED rip it out and fit a borg warner and sell the 9" to someone that has enough power to justify it and put the dollars in your pocket.

3.27 gears....in a 9"????...... :? .....don't think so....3.25.....but not 3.27.
I have 3.27 LSD in my ED.....coz I put it there...was a 3.08 single legger.

I had a similar question, so from what you guys are saying, if you have say a 3.08 single spinner diff, you could buy some 3.45 or 4.11 ratios and an LSD centre and fit them to your current housing?
