I have not got an answer on this yet so i thought i better start a new thread. What are the pins i will be cutting on the trans computer in the EA? I need to now the equivalent pins of 71 and 81 I think?

check out mechanical forums, they've got all the information and diagrams you need there - since there the ones who came up with the shift kits!

EDIT: can't find it. maybe if you do a search on this site they'll be a thread with the address in it (should be in one of the many shift kit threads0, or else maybe one of the other members can tell you.

On EB – ED MPFI I6’s, The S5 Wire to the ECU is on pin 38, and +12v on pin 57.
On EF I6’s the S5 wire to the ECU is on Pin 81, and +12v on pin 71.
On EA I6 – and all V8’s the S5 wire to the TCM is on pin 7, and +12v on pin 29.
