go for slotted. you have more contact surface between the pad and the rottor and x-drilled ones are more more prone to cracking. look at the supercars. they all use slotted rottors...

ps. the little piece of paper that came with the rottors says that the stock rottors are un-evenly weighed (nc fairlane ones anyways)...
Yeah, that's a nice little brake upgrade. Cross drilled is for posers IMO.
Stuffed if I know how much curved slots would cost. Probably not worth it on the 330mm anyway, they're not that large.

yea i just upgraded to DBA slotted and greenstuff pads all round.
(thanks to cam at hightek 8-) )

I just bought DBA slotted and Greenstuff pads on Monday. Got the lot for $800 even. Now to fit them to the XR8. Going to get braided lines too.

$800 seems a bit steep. do the bearing as well while you're changing them. i got a bearing kit from repco for $25ea. includes inner and outer bearing, grease seal and new split pins.
