Hi does anybody know the codes used on the compliance plate for what diff ratio is fitted to the vehicle

iirc, ford didn't do it like holden.
I'll have to fish out my workshop manual to find out!

cheers i was looking around and xr6's have 2 diff options i think 3.45 and 3.27 not really sure which is fitted to my vehicle

If its EL XR6/8 are 3.45 no matter what
EF's are the same, except that i heard once 3.23 was avaliable 3.27 is the V8 LSD for EB/EDs as far as I know

IIRC all ED onwards XR6's had 3.45:1, up to EL1 XR8 got 3.23/3.27 gears, EL2 XR8 (185kw) got 3.45
