Hi, as the title says, I'm chasing some info on the differences between the leaf springs in X series and the AU & B series.

I can't compare them together and I don't really have the opportunity to take detailed measurements.

I think there is a difference between AUI and AUII+ leaves too.

Has anyone tried retro fitting them?

I can't imagine the length of the spring, distance between the end and the U-bolt bit for the diff would be unchanged, but the changes may be subtle enough for it to work..

If it isn't possible to change the whole leaf spring over, what about the plate that the shock mounts on, the old type which mounts the shock more on the inside rather that on the outside and hanging into the well of the wheel a bit. Does anyone know if they would be interchangeable?

If they are then it would be feasible to use lowering blocks.

I guess the shock angle wouldn't be great or at all possible..

By the way, I'm wanting to know because it would work out really well if I could chuck some reset leaves from an XD into my AU2.

Any help would be great :P
