Im looking into gettin my diff done in february. what im gonna get is...
LSD with 3.73 gears. is it possible to change the centre of these diffs. ive heard somewhere that u cant but yea. and where would u recommend gettin it done. ive found Preston Autos and Diffs or G&J in Dandenong i think. and does anyone have a manual ef with 3.73 gears at all??

G&J charge around the $900 mark to convert to LSD and change to 3.73:1 gears, unless their prices have gone up a bit, good quality work to.

just got 2 quotes for my diff....
G&J Diffs: LSD with 3.9 gears s/h for $800 or brand new $1100 Preston Autos and Diffs (now in cambelfield  ):
$1350 for same. i decided to jump up to 3.9 gears instead tho. i just loved the feeling and launch my old car had with 3.9's so i thought why not lol. im not sure who to go with. i definately want brand new setup. ive heard alot of good things about Preston A&D. what do u guys reckon??

also maybe try keysborough diffs. I know heaps of people who have had work done there and they have had nothing but good things to say. Want to take me for a spin when you get it done?? Ive only got 3:45 atm and thinking of changing to 3:9

i think 3.9 would be too high with a 5 speed IMO. you will only be in 1st gear for a few seconds. also depends if you do any highway kms also.

yer first gear would be pretty short. i only got around 45km/h at redline in my old car
