anyone know if you can fit an ed manual into an auto au falcon? would it bolt straight up or is it different?
did a search but didnt find much and too lazy to syphon thru 400 pages incase theres a reference thrown in there somewhere.

yes it can bolt up. but if you use ed bellhousing the lower 2 bolts dont line up,
if you can get an au bellhousing the ed box will bolt to that..

BUT the major issue, probably making it not a good idea is, the ed shift sits about 2" further forward compared to the au box...
so the shift wont line up with the hole in the floor or console...

As troyman said, don't bother. The shifter will come up near the ashtray in the AU.

You have to source a AU box. You also cannot use a V8 box in a I6 and vice-versa.

no worries, thanks for the info. they looked the same from what i could see (only had a quick look under an au at work) but wanted to make sure.
