hello got a ef xr6 5 speed should i change the diff gears or not

help please

being a xr6 it would already have 3.45 diff gears, also being a manual i personally wouldnt go any lower with diff gears..
but if you were to change them 3.77 would be as low as i would go...

you need to take into consideration what you use the car for mostly and would it effect your economy too much, as troyman said you already have the 3.45 xr6 gears and thats a pretty good ratio, its right in the middle of the low range(3.9s or4.11s) and the high gears (3.08 gli gears which mine is and its not very good)
do you always drive on the highway? are you going to drag race it on a proper track or do burnout comps..

being manual it would already rev fairly high in 5th gear at 90+ kms also with the 3.45 diff it would rev even higher than mine so id leave it as is, if it was my choice but its your car and your money
