generally, forte and futura have 3.08 ratio..
fairmont has 3.23
and fairmont ghia, fairlane and xr6 have 3.45..

I had a quick check on ebay and could not find any. I could be using the wrong search word. I used Speedo Sender and Speedo Drive..Speedo Sender in ebay comes up with $121.00 or thereabouts.

Can anyone post a photo of what this Speedo Sender looks like?

you dont need the whole sender, you just need the gear.. try ford, last time i got one from ford it was about $16...

here is one...but i think you need a 20 tooth, but to give you an idea..

on the speedo gear that green bit does that have a metal clip on the end of it, or is it supposed to slide of an on easy?

on mine it didnt would that put my car into limp mode ? i have another one and thats got the metal clip at the end but that doesnt seem like its really holding it tight if you know what i mean

was taking out old speedo drive gear (the green thing) it didnt have a clip on it and it fell down now i cant feel it anything i can do will it harm the gearbox ?
