ef falcon auto issues sometimes you drive it and it works fine and other times it want to just neutralise itself and then find the gear. it has recently been in and out of the car with and engine change and had all new fluids replaced. also the other day when i drove it when i went to take off it felt like it was taking off in second or third gear. any ideas anyone im open to suggestions. :)

try the inhibitor/gear switch on the passenger side of the auto box, white one with 2 plugs going to it
may just be dirty connections , or could be faulty too
my el was loosing gears when i was driving sometimes at 60, sometimes 100kph, sort of went into a neutral. i swapped the switches over from another box and it solved my problem. i also did another el yesterday with same prob, swapped the switch and all good there too.
