Hi Guys
I have an error code logged in my computer (error 634).Does this mean to replace the inhibator switch or can it be cleaned and rebuilt? Just need to know if I need to go and buy a new switch or if it is repairable.
Anybody done this?
Thanks

I have heard that sometimes you can get by with just cleaning them. I guess it depends on what is wrong with it.

Clear the codes and see if it comes back, if not it could be a semi flat battery caused the code. If it does then if you get the cluster diagnostics going then you should be able to see the gear selector, cycle through them and look for intermittent contacts. New they are over $100 genuine but as suggested, cleaning them may be an option.
Cheers
TW.
