I did a service on a BF XR6 6sp auto, and boy are they expensive. This particular one is an 06 model, and has the plastic tranny pan.
This pan also has the filter as part of it, 1 piece.
The special fluid for it is $44.00 per litre and is made by Shell ( Europe) and when you give the specs and part number to Shell ( Australia) they haven't a clue about it. So you gotta get it from Ford, P# R-128.
The pan was replaced as it had the filter in it, cost $250.

There is a trick to doing this and the genuine w/shop manual tells you nothing, then I find out from 2 different Ford dealers that Ford ( Aust) has told them "Do not touch them or service them as they are filled for the life of the car/transmission".

Anyway, I did it and worked out how to get it right myself.

The trick is to have the engine running, in Neutral, and fill up the tranny at the filler plug. It will take 5 litres. The whole tranny holds 8 litres.

I have pics.

I know one of the guys personally and Ford Aust told them not to touch them, as they will give trouble and change gears harshly, etc...
IIRC, BMW are very similar to this too.

Yeah they are crack addicts.

Transmax Z is usable in the ZF, voids warranty though obviously.

plastic pan wouldn't want to go down a bummpy as f**k road or s**t road works....

that oil like the 29 k drop let looks dark?? and the new stuff looks clear... (well no burnt etc) a decent falcon will last like 400k f**k that not changing the oil for that period of time
