ok peoples . . . . . . not long finished picking up the last EA i've bought [& best/cheapest buy too ]

anyway this leadsa to more questions from me

1- are the 3/4/5sp yokes the same ??

2- i 'presume' the diffs are all the same [EXCEPT for the wagoon leaf springs instead of coils] with tailshaft fittings etc ??

3- can i use the 3sp or 4sp tails shaft in a sedan fitted with a 5sp ?? IF not what is the factory length between the uni's [centre to centre] ??

4- if ya happen to get the "zap" from connecting the jumper leads how much damage do you do ?? [car turns over but don't start]

5- are the speedo fittings the same for the 4sp auto/5sp manual ?? [havent dropped either box yet]... if not where's the best [ie cheapest ] place to get em ?

thanks

may come up with some more questions shortly

ended up buyin 4 EA's - 1 a 90's model GIA [4sp parts with 3.23 lsd, was damaged LHS], 1 a 88 model GIA [on gas, but now find tanks out of date etc ], 1 a 89 model 'S' [sports ???? with a 2.77 open diff!] & the last a 88 model GL wagoon [5sp manual with 2.92 lsd....goes really great too....compared to the 'S' ]

be getin the '89 rwc shortly then fitting some parts from the parts car & the wagoon...................or maybe just do the '88
