Anyone here have any experience using Gates Micro V Drive Belts?

Do you currently have any problems with your belts slipping?

no slipping felt at the moment

but i can see cracks in the belt so i'm looking for a new belt and was wondering whether i should stick with genuine ford, go bosch, or go micro v

which ever option is long lasting and provides good durability

i'm not after performance parts

i run one on my bf, the blue adds a little performance but not for long as it rubs off.....

only diffference is they apparently last longer. i took my oem belt off at 100,000k's and the tensioner wasn't even half way tensioned (read: belt fine) and the gates belt was tight as. no difference other than gates claims to have something like 30% more service life and load carrying capabilities, so therefore theoritically if my standard belt wasn't even 'half' stretched by 100,000k then a blue belt should well and truly last the life of the car...
