my friend told me to post hear to see if any one can help me i have a ford TX5 telster 1991 AT2 and i have had it worked on to get alot of problems fixed....its just stock standed atm....well the problem is when i turn at a high speed about 40 to 60kph i turn to the right that is then back to the left i have a shake in the front left hand wheel i have replaced the hub as it is some time called i have put new wheel bearings and every thing both side i got a wheel alignment done front and rear i have had the inner tie rod done as well.....rotated the wheels and balenced....so i really dont know the problem why it would be still doing that could any one help me???? :?: :?: :?: ...... :(

what would i have to do to replace them can i get them at a repco or supercheep or auto one???....

thank you for that i went and got it checked and yes it was the cv joints.....am geting it fixed in about 2 weeks costing about $80 to fix it parts and labour.....thanks again.... :)

make sure you do the inner ones as well. these often get overlooked but have done the same mileage as the outers. $80 seems very cheap. i got changeover driveshafts on a kf laser i had and that was $3-400pr.

i'll nevr own another fwd car.

thats real cheap for cv's. i had a KF laser for years, abd did a few set of Cv's, its a fairly simple job to do yourself, just need the trusty old Gregories nearby. s**t come to think of it i used that book to rebuild that entire car almost, get hold of the gregories manual for your car and then you can simply go to the trouble shooting section and then do the work yourself

i have a mechanic that comes to my house and does it his done all the work on my car i all ways call him out and yes hes said something about the cv joinst inside as well.....because i allways call him he doesnt put the price up that much.....
