EF V8 Transmission shifts between 1st and 2nd slowly but slips also,shudder affect in extreme acceleration,right level of fluid but no idea what may be causing this?? any ideas?? cheers kyle

I've got a similar problem with the new box I've just put in my car - im thinking I might just go and get my auto serviced as im thinking that the bands probably need a tighten . . .
Also the shuddering with your could also be crook rubbers/mounts . . . Cheers Grant |

they can be tightened, but if its as bad as mine then theyd probably need replacing.

my wagon basically goes from 1st to neutral for half a second then 2nd when its warmed up lol
