How can i tell when my trans is in limp home mode? cos i think mines close.

When crusing at 80-100 it stays in 3rd gear. Your revs would be about 3000?

be very sluggish when u take off from the lights, as the box locks itself in 3rd. cruising along the freeway is good, just touch the accelerator and the things takes off :P

Feels like you have a stallie! also it will burn the fluid over time resulting in alot more problems so have it checked ASAP....

i was driving the car on the freeway the other day 2 mins after i started the car...ie. the car wasnt in normal temp...and the tranny was stuck in 3rd :S is that because the car is warming up? eventually it moved onto 4th.
