Hi,
Has any one fitted standard Territory wheels to BA Falcon, 245/60 R17 tyres.
I have XR wheels fitted with 235/45 R17 tyres and looking to see what the difference may be

you can't cause the tyre will hit the bottom of the spring/shocker assembly on the front, on the rear you will damage your quarter panels if you go over a bump.....
in the wagon u can put them on the rear not sure about the ute's.. but not in the front end no clearance.....

i found the only way to get them on is to use 30mm spacers but legaly you can't do it anyways, unless you can modify your wheel hubs on the front, so you are not using spacers...
but even after you do that you have to flare the front guards

another way around it would be to use a set of 215/60R17 but good luck finding these anywhere lol

Thanks, the main reason I want to go to slimmer tyres, is that the rear 235/40R17 are scrubbing on the inside, I tow a caravan and whilst I have no problem towing, and is very stable, the IRS is obviously working hard. I thought that slimmer tyre may help, a friend of mine with the same model BA, also towing the same size van, is using standard 215/60 R16 tyres has no problems.
