Ride: ford fg xr6

Location: dubbo
NSW, Australia

Looking at lowering my xr6 and was wondering what else you guys recommend i need to lower it properly so far i have king springs and koni red shocks on the way. Also with the shocks wondering what setting you guys recommend with thr konis or should i just leave them on the softest setting? I dont want to ride to be extremely stiff as i like how the car feels now. Will i notice a big improvement even if left on the softest setting? Appreciate any help thank you

Wouldn't the stiffness of the shock be dependent on which shock you bought?

If you want to stiffen the ride, get sway bars. Don't do it with shocks. Shocks will cause the car to ride harshly, and still won't be as stiff as thicker sway bars. I'm running with 30mm up front, and 22 ADJ for the rear. Body roll is next to none, and with the Monroe GT Sports Shocks, the ride quality is quite nice, although some larger bumps will cause you to grit your teeth; but that is inevitable with lowered cars.
