hey guys just wondering if anyone know where in SA i could get a LSD conversion for my EF and roughly wat price im looking at? any help is appreciated cheers

wont need any ecu or bem module upgrades all diffs have the same ecu ect. i know this because i put a 3.45:1 lsd in my ef fairmont that only came standard with a open centre diff in it
cant help with the finding one though best bet try a wreckers who are wreckin an ef/el xr6 or xr8 the usally have a 3.45:1 diff in them i got mine for bout $700 and fitted it my self. if not fairlane v8s have a 3.23:1 lsd in them most of the time

cheers mate. how hard is it to fit the diff? wat needs to be done was it a disk to disk

yeah mate got the whole set up . just droped my old diff out and placed the new one in no muckin round with centres and shafts involved. just pop ya brake calipers off the diff and undo all the mountings and have a trolley jack under it to pull it out had mine done in a day

yeah true but was workin on me old mans el gli convertin it to power windows and acc now thats a b**ch of a job

If you don't want to do the labour yourself, try contacting Diff&Trans SA in the city, or Boss differentials if you are down south. I had the diff in my R31 done at diff&trans, good guys and very reasonable price
