You need the gear box pedal box with clutch computer to suit your car and flywheel, manual driveshaft,

the best thing to do is to just go get an old ea manual and strip it for the manual gear, all except the comuted cause of the efi, ea are carby. that way you have everything you need, clutch pedal box break pedal, gear box, clutch cable (may need a new one along with a new clutch and pressure plate) and your tail shaft. all the goodies you will need to make one hell of a mess

engine performance wise it dont make any difference..
but in ea to ed you need to fit a resistor on the gear position curcuit to trick the ecu to thinking its in neutral, otherwise the ecu will think its in drive and bump the idle up and cause rev hang..

in ef/el you need to fit a resistor on the gear position curcuit as above.
and also need to add another resistor to the trans temp curcuit, otherwise the ecu will think the auto is overheating and the thermo fans will run full speed constantly...

or the other method id getting a manual tune on a j3 chip to achieve the same results
