Ok I know i dont treat my car that nicely, and I know after 120000km thinhgs would start to go wrong.

I got a 1997 EL XR6 5SP, Cam, Exhaust and unichip
it has a 3.45 LSD diff.

On the spot I used to just put my foot to the floor and turn, and get both wheels spinning.

Now the engine just seems to rev, and only one wheel spins, but only off the line, around corners and in the wet it still gets 2 spinning easilly.

It makes no sounds and is not clunky, except when all of a sundden a 1 wheel turning burnout becomes a 2 wheel LSD burn out.

Do you just think it is tired and needs to have something replaced, it was serviced 20000km ago.

What would I be looking at replacing? Clutches, cones, bearings? I might also go for a 3.77 diff ratio put in when I do it.

Does anyone know how much I would be looking at? $$$

pretty sure u can get a additive for it too!

also go to a carpark and do some SLOW tight left turns followed by a few SLOW tight ( ie full lock ) turns, this has being known to bring back dead lsds
