I'm after info about the cruise control system on BA falcons.
I have the factory manual but there is no section on cruise and i've been looking through any other section that might have something but can't find anything useful.

Need to know at the minimum each sensor the system needs to function correctly.

Only info seems to be in the PCM section, 303-14-34, and a few a pages on. Wiring diagrams 303-14-00-7. Steering s/w's in the steering section maybe.
Most of the links are down, but you can still download a PDF version at http://trev.id.au/2003-ford-falcon-ba-workshop-manual/ - the one I downloaded off the forum has wiring diagrams though.

There's a bit on the pedal switches here the-garage-f53/dohc-turbo-nl-fairlane-t116634.html . Also BenJ's build thread - don't know if he sorted out the pedal switches, but cruise does work.

This car can't decide what gear it wants to be in or if it wants the convert locked or unlocked when you set the cruise control.

With out the cruise on it's smooth as.

I don't like getting into diagnosing stuff like this until I have all the info and properly understand all the inputs and the way the system operates.

I found the bit in the PCM section about 'Speed Control Range Switch Assembly' which deals with the steering wheel controls. These still work correctly.

Seems I may have it sorted. While doing an LPG conversion on the car I changed two things.

One is I cleaned the TB and two is that While I had the airbox out I removed and cleaned the earth point and sanded back the paint under the terminal.

On the trip home the problem seemed to be gone. Time will tell.
