i dunno if its just me trippen balls or something that just happens lol
it feels like my car skips 2nd all together and goes straight to third it doesnt flare, has firm shifts and feels like its in pretty good nick the car has stock ratio dif (2.77) and revs to around 4500 at 80ks then changes gear and drops to around 2200 then doesnt change gear again is there a way of testing it or fixing it if its a common problem? ie. changing fluid or servicing the tranny? i dont mind pulling s**t apart if i can fix it, but if not then i wont even bother lol

sounds like 2nd gear band is gone
easy to fix there a 3 speed auto there a dime a dozen so just replace it with a new 1 easier quicker and less of a f**k thats all i did in my old 1 3 times 
box has been fine since just lost my bottom end now haha Drifty

sounds fun. always wondered why the car felt slow as f**k in '2nd' how cheap is dime a dozen? would i be kidding myself thinking i can get one for $50 lol if its anymore ill just hold off and put a manual in it, but if its cheap enough to replace then i dont mind the ol 3 speed too much!
