Hey Guys,

Ive had my BA Fairmont V8 for about three months now and since i bought it i noticed there is a sound coming from the rear near the axles when i reverse up my driveway the sound is the same as when the CV joints on a front wheel drive car are buggered (Like creeking metal). So im assuming that my farimont has similar uni joints at the back because of the independant rear, and im fairly confident thats where the noise is coming from. My question is how big a job is it to replace these joints or fix them? And if anywone has had this problem before and got it fixed at the mechanics how much did it cost ya?

Thank in advance!!! :)

Cheers
