Sorry to bring up an oldish thread folks.. But I just picked up some SY AWD rear calipers and rotors and wondering after reading the comment above if they will fit on my ba xr6t.

Also , if they do fit, do I need the sy handbrake shoes etc or will the BA ones fit in the SY rotor hub? Looks bigger to me but I've not seen them side by side yet. Spent part of my arvo getting them off.. Ended up using a sissor jack between the body and the rotor to apply pressure to the rotor while I wacked it with a mallet. Hard work but got them off.. Hope it wasn't for nothing.

Ta thanks!

Interestingly, I saw some rear FG turbo rotors on special for 50 bucks (RDA gold) and I thought yay! however the rotors only list as being 303mm, not the 328mm of the BF turbo/Territory turbo.

The RDA part number listed is only for FG too.. (Part # RDA505AG )

here is an example:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ford-FG-XR6-TURBO-XR8-G6E-TURBO-2-08-Rear-Gold-RDA-Disc-Brake-Rotors-SALE-/191148277385?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c81533e89

So it looks like the FG series turbo cars have smaller rear rotors than BF turbo.

Here is a BF turbo rear RDA rotor part number Part # RDA7935
as seen here: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ford-BF-XR6T-XR8-5-4L-V8-10-05-1-08-Rear-Drilled-Slotted-RDA-Disc-Rotors-Fluid-/190906782804?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c72ee5454

I was rather annoyed as I thought 50 bucks for a set of the big rear slotted dimpled rotors was a really good deal (there is a clearance sale on with them and RDA rotors currently) Sadly the BF turbo/territory rotors are not in the clearance.

regards

Frank
