I've noticed rubber hose is starting to crack at the point where it goes onto what I think is the breather pipe of the live axle.
The same hose goes up and is traveling inside the vehicle. I have not traced the rubber hose as yet. Does anyone know what size this rubber hose and what purpose does it serve? Heres a pic

Hi. don't know the size, but it's only use is as a breather for the diff so no water can go in thru that point. the hose finishes an inch or two from where it goes in.

Mad2,
Thanks mate, I wasn't sure if it was connected to anything else when it goes up the hole. Easy enough job to do then. Cheers |
