ok i have done EVERYTHING 100000% than the frist post said 2 do is there anyway of making it change harder and faster??

the shift kit quickens the actual gear changes. Not the time the computer takes to tell the gearbox to change. Very little can be done to rectify that.

i'm guessing a good bet would be to have confidence your gearbox is in good condition, but whilst driving with it on, and giving it to it, don't be too keen on that gearbox staying in good condition.
apparently i'm throwing sparks upon gear change with it on (& i'm giving it a bit.) so yeah, still reccommend for fun, although maybe put the adjuster in too.

an adjuster is a variable potentiometer. Replace the resistor with a variable potentiometer in order to "adjust" the firmness of the shift.
This will still not make the gearbox change faster after changing gears with the shifter.

Hey im new to this forum i did this trick a while back with my eb I with separate tcm and found that i used the 18ohm and 5.6ohm and it wasnt that good i then changed it to a 6.8ohm i think from memory and then a 15ohm but i did that the same day my auto was serviced and and new bands and now im finding its not as harsh has anyone got any better ideas to get it a bit firmer with out sending the auto to limp mode

I installed the adjustable shiftkits.com.au shiftkit, couldn't be stuffed making my own. The number 7 pin wire was green, the number 29 wire was yellow with orange stripe. 97 NL Fairlane V8. |
