Bought a set of King Spring Superlows for my EL Fairmont and was told I wouldn't need shortened struts for the rear or a camber kit. I'm not hugely fussed as I got them for $100 including Monroe GT front shockers, but I'd like to put them in asap if I won't need new shocks at the back.

Also, if anybody has photos of an EL with Superlows all round, that'd really help me out. Cheers.

Ever have issues with the standard shocks at the back? Bottom out on much? I'm just sick of the standard height and want it to look nicer, but I'm worried it'll make the car impractical for carrying people and stuff around.

Hey mate when I lowered mine I put in the pedders sports ryders which lowered it 30mm all round. Rear springs and shocks and just fronts shocks. Was told by them the front would be fine but the back I needed to change as the spring would pop out. All thou if I did it again I wouldnt go with pedders. I also got camber/caster kit put thru it aswel. If you have a look in my profile if yiu want.

Cheers for the replies! Did either of you guys have issues when carrying people? I'm driving myself and 3 others+luggage up to Melbourne at the start of next year and don't want the car scraping everywhere. Speed bumps and driveways are fair enough, but it'd be far too impractical if the thing is scraping on the actual road with people in it.

That EF in your photos looks nice! Is that lowered on SL's?

I have Pedder red on Munro gt shocks in the rear and only scrapes when I don't think about the angles.
Tucks the rim with a full tank and 2 blokes in the back.
Just gotta think about how you drive.
And my springs only come out when I have it on a 2 poster and lift under the rails.
