Thanx.

We had a member who has Superlows in her EF gli - sat about 1.cm above the wheel with the 18" rims so i would say it'll be fine.

It would more than likely depend on how soft the car still drives on these springs and the width of the rim in relation to your guards.
My tyre sits about an inch under the guards and doesn't rub, but i did lip my front guards.

If you know anyone who is a panel beater, they'll probably do it for about $50 for the front two guards.
Doesn't take them long so.....

Yeah it depends on what brand of superlows you go for. They're all fairly different, in respect to there actual rate, so one brand might sit a bit lower and rub, and another won't.
Probably better to be safe then sorry and get your front guards rolled like EL XR8.
I remember seeing an ad ?somewhere? for a guy that actually came out to your car and did it. Check the yellowpages perhaps.

True regarding brands, the EF i spoke about used king superlows with no probs, harder ride i presume..

Whereas i had whiteline superlows with bilstein shocks, softer ride than kings and was rubbing even with gaurds rolled on my stock 17" rims!
Now on Lows and its sits above the gaurd, no rubbing at all, same rims/shocks.

Lowers or super lows

ROLL your guards if you have 235+ on the fronts as it will RUB and scrub out when you go on a corner and hit a bump!

I have 245s and rolled guards are no problems, have a search as u will find a lot of ppl with 17s have rubbed out, so just get it done!

Nope, have superlows with 18x8's (235) and absolutely no dramas at all, even with 4 people in the back the wheels dont scrape and carry on (though the ride is VERY bouncy with a full car haha!)

I think it maes a big diff depending on: brand of springs/shocks used.. as some ppl like myself scraped with 17" n some dont with 18/19..

Just do it n see how it is, the only way you know whats gonna happen lol!
