the other half has finally got me to work on me wagooon lol as i will be swappin the auto box from mine to hers.... :roll:


is there anything i should know?? have done the older 3sp boxes before. do i need ta change/remove the elec plug on side of the box??? etc etc & so on

Plug is fine.

If using the AU Torque Convertor, check the length of the Pump drive (section that goes into the gearbox) against the EB one.

I have found later model torque convertors a bit longer in that section and they actualy grind on the pump housing inside the gearbox. May not apply to all but worth the check.

Also if using the AU convertor, check that it slips into the rear of the Crank. I have had one that wouldn't fit onto the EF. Again may not apply to all but worth the check when you could be stuck under the car with a box that won't slip in.

didn't fit the box ... took to long gettin box out .. i paid someone else ta fit it :lol: not sure IF the fitted the EB convertor or not :|
