Hee hee.

Joe at Crescent had a set in about a month ago (I think it went on Pierre's car actually).

But the kits are still being put together ... not too much longer to go.
Just gotta find out the price for these now ... so i can get the cash together.

Really?!?!

Hmmmmm

so is it days or weeks away from being available to the public?? I promised myself I wouldnt spend anymore money on the wagon this month (already spent over $3k on both cars this month and I really need to be saving right now)... but this might be too tempting...especially cos stocky fairy brakes look crappy under nice new 17" rims.

Joe has been busy ... but he is trying to get these brakes in ... as there are E-series and A-series ones well (A-series are an easier swap apparently).

I did see a set sitting on a pallet in his workshop about a month ago.

And i am certain it was Pierre that got the original kit in too.

I need to see Joe about getting a service soon anyway ... but last time I spoke to him he said it was close to getting the kits finalised.

All kits come with the braided lines as well.

My AUII brakes aren't too bad ... but not the best either ... hence why I want to replace mine.

the hardest part to get of these kits is the spindles, which would be a replica of the ELGT bits... from ford new, they cost 840 each. i guess that explains why they're getting them made custom..

i imagine thats all they're waiting for, since calipers/braided lines are comparitively easy to source..

What exactly are they changing on the spindles? i might be interested as i am uterly disapointed with my dba slotted with bendix advanced pads, i think it was actually a step down from standard! Has anyone else been disapointed like me?

Any updates on how far away they are for FTG? Probably getting sick of hearing that question!!!

As soon as they're in, slap me down for a set with the tickford calipers, Gracie

As the saying goes.
"All good things come to those who wait".

I know when it is like ... I have been waiting for other stuff for previious cars ... but when it does FINALLY arrive ... it was definitely worth the wait.

From the amount of people who are wanting these ... there is certainly demand ... so I am pretty sure they will be coming through.

After speaking with Joe in Sydney he is adamant they will be coming through ... no questions asked ... it's just a case of getting all the bits together and organised ready for bulk selling.

Just need to wait a little longer guys.

I know what your talking about Mr Ed, i had the same package, went through a set of dba slotted in 11,000km and thats 90% country driving? i think the same, ive gone backwards, spent too much coin on it and no improvement, put me down for the EL GT upgrade, been looking at doing something like this for ages. Although i love accelerating quick, I also like to be able to stop quick.

^ not to mention having to clean your rims constantly.... bendix ultimates arent worth it unless you're hard on the brakes all the time and dont care about wear!
