Hey guys I have 97 fairlane 6cyl I have an issue with it vibrating in drive gears while stopped but not in neutral or park it has a bit of power loss but not a huge amount everyone ive asked says low tranny oil

So checked the mounts the look fine theres no ridiculous amounts of play

What type of mounts do you have?

EF/EL oil Filled Engine Mount

There will be no movement with the Oil Filled mounts, they collapse and metal to metal on the outer casing gives the vibration.

Look at the left side of the picture and you will see notches in the outer casing, like a castle, this is the bottom of the mount.

If you have a look at the mounts in the car, there should be about 5mm or so gap between the outer case of the mount at the bottom and where it bolts to the base plate that bolts to the frame.

Look at the Drivers side mount, under the exhaust manifold, I bet it is that one.
